Terms of Use
1. The product
ThisCrush is an anonymous crush wall for iOS. You claim a username, receive posts and likes, comment, promote with gems, and share a link. It is not a dating service, not a messenger, and not a promise that anyone will identify themselves.
2. Your account
You must be at least 18. ThisCrush is rated 18+ on the App Store and the app asks for your year of birth before anything on the wall is shown. If you are under 18 you may not use ThisCrush, and we will close any account we find that belongs to someone under 18. You are responsible for the username and password you choose. Do not claim a username you do not have a right to use (including another person's name used to impersonate them). We can reclaim, hide, or delete an account that breaks these terms.
3. Your content
Posts, comments, likes, photos, and profile text stay yours. You give us a license to host and display them so the wall can work. Do not post anything illegal, sexual involving minors, harassing, hateful, or that shares someone else's private information. We can remove content and ban accounts that break this.
4. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users
There is no tolerance on ThisCrush for objectionable content or for abusive users. Objectionable content includes anything illegal, sexual content involving minors, pornography, threats, harassment, bullying, hate speech aimed at anyone's race, ethnicity, religion, disability, gender, age, sexual orientation or gender identity, encouragement of self-harm, doxxing, impersonation, and spam or scams.
Using ThisCrush means agreeing to this rule. Posting that content, or behaving abusively toward other people, ends your access.
How this is enforced:
- Filtering. The app blocks objectionable text before it can be posted.
- Reporting. Every ask and every reply carries a visible Report control, and any profile can be reported from the profile screen.
- Blocking. You can block any account from its profile, which stops it reaching you.
- Removal. You can delete your own posts at any time, which removes them from the wall immediately.
- Action within 24 hours. Reported content is removed and the account behind it is dealt with within 24 hours of the report. Accounts that collect repeated upheld reports are ejected and cannot sign in again.
Ejection is permanent. If you believe an account was ejected in error, write to goreste90@gmail.com.
5. Anonymity
A crush can be left without showing the author's name on the wall. Anonymity is a product feature, not a shield for abuse. We may look up an author when we investigate a report.
6. Gems and purchases
Gems are a virtual balance used for promotions and similar in-app actions. They have no cash value outside the app. Apple processes payment. Refunds are handled by Apple. Unused gems are lost if we close the account for a terms violation.
7. Subscriptions
ThisCrush offers one optional auto-renewing subscription, VIP, in two plans: weekly and yearly. VIP keeps you in the Live row on the Home wall for the whole paid period without spending gems. It does not unlock anyone else's content, and it does not reveal who sent an unsigned ask.
- Plans: VIP renews every week. VIP Yearly renews every year.
- Price: shown on the App Store purchase sheet before you confirm, in your own currency. It varies by storefront.
- Payment: charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- Renewal: the subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Managing and cancelling: Settings > your Apple Account > Subscriptions, on your device. Cancelling stops the next renewal; the period you already paid for runs to its end and you stay Live until then.
- Refunds: handled by Apple, not by us.
8. Share links
Profile links use https://thiscrush.web.app/u/{username}. Referral links use https://thiscrush.web.app/r/{username}. Do not wrap these links in malware, phishing pages, or paid traffic that pretends to be ThisCrush.
9. Disclaimer
The app is provided as is. We do not guarantee that a crush is sincere, that a username belongs to the person you think it does, or that the service will stay online without interruption.
